Overview Josephine A. Few's grandfather, Dr. Samuel F. Few, emigrated from Virginia to Kansas Territory's town of Leavenworth in the early 1850s. These family papers contain several of his printed invitations to Leavenworth social events, a news clipping regarding the Few family farm near Leavenworth, and a letter from University of Kansas Professor E.
